I like the way your maximizer works/sounds but have one small pet peeve of a personal nature. I do not care for the way the knobs jump to position when clicked on.
This jump can be a shocker when squeezing those last db's out of a mix!
I much prefer knobs that start their movement from their current position when clicked on. (also prefer linear knob control to circular, again a personal preference).
This wont keep me from using your maximizer but thought I'd mention it.

Numerical input would be sweet, if not just to get there more quickly. But this is sounding awesome! Not sure if it sounds any different/better than the original 4.3 - and what happened to the 4th control? - but this sounds great; as good as any of the pro maximizers I can think of, with no fuss.

We don't need to adjust any input parameter anymore, this parameter was made for reducing distortion that appears when we maximized the input signal too much, especially for music that has fast transient, but it (previous maximizer5)didn't work nicely.

The reworked version reduce that distortion by using the "character" parameter. Try to set this character at 0.03 - 0.2, I often use that settings.

Use fast mode for music that has many fast transients and use normal mode otherwise.

I'm sorry I can't explain well because of my English ability.

I made Aradaz Maximizer 5 updated to v1.1. The maximize and output knobs use 0.1 dB steps. I think it's easier to control the parameter now .
