3.triangle2: at one point my impression was it was preferred for a lot of dance sounds, but I don't think it has quite the same sonic range.

I like and use both, but remember Triangle 2 is monophonic and, if truth be known, suffered for not having 10 million preset banks of trance sounds.

^ Have to say, I use both as well, but S1 can only dream of having dense bass sounds like T2. With lead sounds, S1 is easier and has a bit more bite (but then again, that can be added to T2 after the fact... bit of dist. bit of Comp and an exciter.Job done).
