Uninstalled, got a new license, started over the same sh*t(install, enter code, activate), still can't find Largo, I give upIngonator wrote:Maybe those threads will help you: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=256501daradei wrote:It would be nice to see a working method. After entering the code from the email and downloaded the license, it is activated till Aug 9 but I can not see Largo as an instrument in any sequencer. Do I have to run Synchrosoft center in the background? What is the problem?

You could also check the Largo manual: http://www.waldorfmusic.de/en/archive?r ... umentation
The installation and authorization procedure is described in the manual.
If Largo should work you could try my patches: http://www.kvraudio.com/banks.php?s=list&what=3620
Largo demo version available!

I'm sincerely wondering what's wrong with youkeel wrote:Wow.. One instance of largo, pick up some random pad preset, pressing four notes and my cpu meter screams mercy. Filters sound's bad, overal sound is bad. What the hell was that hype? V-Station which is old as hell sound so much better than this synth
i've found the CPU weight quite light on my macmini intel core duo and the filters, though there not always easy to control, sounds awesome
By comparison, Gladiator2 that i own, and though it filters are already very impressive of quality and diversity, is beaten hands down on that particular ground by Largo IMO !

Just tried it, I really like the sound, but CPU usage is incredibly hig! I'm on a quadcore PC with WIndows XP, and I don't have this CPU usage with any of the (many) other VST installed. Someone said the same and someone said CPU usage was low, so it seems there are problems with certain configuration. My host is Cubase 4.5.2

Hmm, tried it
Didn't have problems with the installation procedure (were some messing, all was my fault)
It is pretty much similar to the Komplexer, seems to share the basics
The sound is nice, interface looks good
The preset handling sucks ass, and the FX section needs some overhaul for the aforemented issues
I hope it will have additional features, like macros and etc.

Same configuration here and the impact on the cpu goes between 5-9% .Project wrote:Just tried it, I really like the sound, but CPU usage is incredibly hig! Yes, you can. There is power button for each effect. Filters are not bad. People this is why waldorf is ummm waldorf!casiosk1 wrote:WHY can't you do reverb and delay at the same time?
Filters are not bad at all. They are as is. Perfect for distorted sounds, aggressive basses etc. Waldorf type.
