I thought I would get a submission in this time, but unfortunately Real Life got in the way, plus I had to devote my musical energy to a gig for Canadian Thanksgiving.
Here's my picks:
10 Korolev's Idea - Mouxbar
5 Stairway to Taurus Yeager
3 Telemetry - Glynbo Glyn Lloyd-Jones
2 If Ye're Abel, Ye're In - tattiemannie
1 Temple Gardens MA-Simon
I feel like I missed out on the fun, so I'll definitely make time to create something for the Halloween comp.

Ok! here are my votes (Edited):
Stairway to Taurus - OSCVIII - Yeager =10
sputonix rsmus7.mp3 =5
SOMEPLACE_SAFE---Mac_of_BIOnighT =3
Korolev's Idea - Mouxbar =2
Telemetry - Glynbo =1
Thanks to tattiemannie for managing this comp and putting up with schmucks like me who can't read the rules for the comp and the voting process properly the first time
I look forward to hear more tracks for every one who did tracks for this comp again, great stuff kids. This was a whole mess of fun, ScottAC

2(5) Korolev's Idea (Mouxbar) - 2, 10, 5, 3, 1, 3, 1, 5, 10 = 40
3(2) Telemetry (Glynbo) - 1, 2, 2, 10, 5, 3, 10, 3, 3 = 39
4(3) Stairway to Taurus (Yeager) - 3, 3, 10, 3, 1, 10, 2, 5 = 37
5(4) Ice Organ (MA-Simon) - 5, 3, 10, 10 = 28
6(6=) Approaching to the Unknown (Opus Diaboli) - 5, 5, 1, 5, 1, 2, 3, 1 = 23
7(6=) Science (Mr Me) - 1, 1, 10, 5, 2, 3 = 22

12(11) Temple Gardens (MA-Simon) - 1, 5, 1 = 7
13(12=) Dawn of Infinity (Abstractcats) - 2, 1, 3 = 6
14=(12=) Eighth Fret (WrigglerUk) - 3
14=(12=) NII-88 (Gamma-UT) - 3
16(16=) If Ye're Abel Ye're In (Tattiemannie) - 2
17=(16=) Alien SunSet (Abstractcats) - 0
17=(16=) Gtg Lolz ( deaf dunderkwak ) - 0
17=(16=) Impromptu-in-E-Minor (mrblitz000) - 0
17=(16=) Sputnik 002 (Hyperspace Drifter) - 0
.....( Total votes.. 15, total points.. 315 )......
Intriguing stuff! Stairway to Taurus drops a place in spite of gaining 7 votes ....mainly due to Korolev's idea reclaiming that 2nd spot with a 3 place leap and a 15 point gain. Telemetry also drops a place despite picking up points.
So looks there is a challenge for that top spot with 2nd, 3rd and 4th places looking strong.
Highest climber was October 4 ... moving up 5 places with a 10 point haul.
Still a long way to go .... Keep 'em comin folks

If you will not count my votes and I will update my "vote entry" and let you know when I've done so, sorry for the confusion.

Hi all
Just wanted to say this was a really kool project!
I do look forward to doing this again. I've been making music with my pc for
about three years and I know that some of you have been making music both with PCs and in a traditional manor many years longer than I.
Kvr has been a great help as far as PC composing etc. I've owned a guitar since I was about 12(I'm 42)I do play keyboard a little as well,can I play guitar at all? well, I can make stuff up as I go pretty well and I can play my favorite Ramones songs well.
As much as I love rock n roll(punk being my favorite)I've all ways been an even bigger fan a electronic music since hearing/seeing Garynuman and Devo on SNL in the late 70's and hearing Tangerine Dream, Synergy, Front242 etc. in the 80's.
Thanks again to all involved in making this happen and donating the prizes.

Ceilidh is a traditional English/Irish/Scottish thing?tattiemannie wrote:Abstractcats ...Yeah!! Punk rools! .... I do most of my paid work with a ceilidh band, but still do the odd punk gig .... gonna be playin support to The Lurkers in a couple of weeks ... really lookin forward to that one.

You're nearly right about the ceilidh thing .... apart from the 'english' bit
... the term 'english ceilidh' would be about as logical as 'freindly fire' ...
although, and not a lot of scots/irish will want to hear this, some tunes and dances regularly enjoyed at a ceilidh are of english origin.

The Lurkers were one of the earliest punk bands .... there is an interesting story ( which I cant recall accurately right now ) about the guitarist unwittingly learning on an upside down right hand guitar, then, when realising, having to relearn with the strings the other way up, moving to a left hand guitar, and then deciding to revert back to upside-down right hand guitar, but strung 'left handed'
