Ok, I can't hold on to this for ever, I guess I could give the readers of this thread a little freebe. This is a little tool to make drums sound more... well, more... It ads different kinds of dirt and sqouush up the bass.
It's made for house and techno beats but I tried it on baselines and other instruments and it could be useful on pretty much anything.
Bompa

Demo, first 4 bars dry, the rest has the good stuff
(running it pretty hard)
http://www.noisebud.se/noisebud/bompa_demo.mp3
Installer:
http://www.noisebud.se/noisebud/Noisebu ... _Setup.exe
I'm not putting it in a owwn thread because even if it reach v1.0 it doesn't handle clipping in the way I want. But if you put some analog simulating plug after this (like a PSP vintage warmer, http://www.pspaudioware.com/) it will round out that ugly clipping in a nice way.
Edit:
No, I'm either a employee or sponsored by PSP Audioware they just make good stuff that I like.

Ferric TDS from DC'09 does the trick too. So far I think the TDS got the pole position in the challenge. But I haven't tried them all yet.jorra wrote:Ok, I can't hold on to this for ever, I guess I could give the readers of this thread a little freebe.
