thanks fred - I'll make the 1.0.1.6 available on the download again - its possible the cpu reuction I did between version broke things ... but then I'm scratching my head re WL6 ... I'll maybe get back to you for more tests later - thanksfreddemillio wrote:1.0.1.6 works fine in C5. I tried various presets and they all seemed to work well (and some sounded pretty good on a clean electric guitar track).
1.0.1.6 in WL6: WL6 sees it but when I load it I get the serious error message. However, unlike 1.0.1.7, 1.0.1.6 won't work at all: all sound is blocked until I bypass it.

thanks jsp : they both run here side by side and as I don't know reaper that well, I'm unsure what to suggest ... have you cycled it ?
i.e. remove plugin and associated folder, restart reaper, re-scan, close-out, re-install, re-reaper, re-scan, re-load or whatever the correct sequence of events is to do this ?

now in stereo in FL
i've rebuilt the dll as a stereo rather than multichannel - this maybe runs with WL ?
and put the 192 individual presets in folders in the zip along with the bank files ...
link on page updated - click-the-sig ...

@stanlea : thanks ... and sorry - not much chance of a bigger gui at this stage as its such huge amount of work
@taotekid : I'll try another export later, this time with mono usability option, to see if that helps, although iirc its an older option for older hosts ... its a bit like the browser-wars, just with more, (and more expensive) browsers ...
thanks both

wait ! the problem occurs on WavelabLite 2.53,
so it is an old version, the only one I have (it came with a soundcard)
it may work fine now with newer versions ...
I'm very happy that it works well in FL now
& thank YOU for the great plugin

2.53
that must be what ? 2001 ? if not then it must surely be getting grey hairs and starting to think about pensions, coffins, funerals and the like

Hi Daz
I just tried 1.0.1.8 and these are my results:
C5 - C5 does not recognize it as a VSTfx. So far of .6, .7 and .8, only .6 is seen as a VSTfx and is loadable and usable in C5.
WL6 - .8 is recognized as a VSTfx. When first loaded I get the serious-error-but-WL-could-control-it message. Then it works OK ... until I close the GUI. Then all sound is blocked and only bypassing the effect brings the sound back. Also, the presets will not load. I can see them, I can select them, but then nothing happens.
Sorry that I can't report back anything more positive. In any case, I will be happy to test any new versions as they appear and I'll keep watching this thread for further updates.
I do hope you get it all figured out, because the sounds are quite nice and I believe that the effect is quite interesting.
As for the size of the GUI: I understand that you can't change it at this time, but I would also like to mention that I too would appreciate a larger GUI.
bzst regards!

thanks fred
I'll back-track to 1.0.1.6 and apply the changes that got from 1.0.1.7 to 1.0.1.8 and see where that takes it, although atm, I'm running out of options for what the simple reasons and therefore solutions might be ... If needs be, there'll be several dll files in the release for different hosts, but I'd like to avoid this if possible ... not hopeful for WL6 compat atm tho
, and I figure C5 is probably more a priority for creative effects production that WL, right ?
we'll see - thanks again

Yes, I agree that this type of effect will probably be more used in a sequencer (e.g., Cubase) than an editor (e.g. Wavelab). But just a thought: the montage part of Wavelab is very much for creativity and in the past I have used the montage to do full track mixes. I know that you have to prioritize your work as best suits you and your customer base, but I thought that it would be good to mention that Wavelab is not only an audio editor, it can also be used for music/track creation.
I appreciate your efforts. Thank you very much.
