i'm not sure i understand,cos if you make a drumloop,then you wouldn't want any tails playing because that would cause phasing,surely.
and if you mean 'after the loop stops,then wouldn't you just unghost the last one and drag the end out?

Cuttingis more logical but the reason for not doing so from the beginning is because you can make drum loops with audio part and then you dont want it to cut of the release of samples at the end of the loop.
But I guess working with audio is more common than making drum beats on an audio track so Im open to change (the default setting) this so it feels the right way.

leaving the default as cut?
