Minihost has an adjustable random feature
that you can use on synths that don't have a random
feature.
The oatmeal one is excellent, as is Atlantis.
Zebra and ZebraCM have a script to choose between full random, and a chosen %
so you can get results closer to the preset you chose to modify
just load preset, run the script by loading it as a preset, go for a few dozen times, and study what changes sonically/visibly
very helpful for slow learners like me  :hihi:
Please where do i find that script for Zebra and information about it

Copy that into a txt-file and save it as *.h2p. Then copy it into your preset folders. Now everytime you click on it, the preset gets randomized :)

Im still baffled by it.

A RANDOM button ...... on a MAXIMIZER ???
You're probably talking about the MeldaProductions plugins. I also find it weird that almost (if not) all of their dynamics plugins have a "random" button.

Also, random factoid of the day, REFX's Vanguard has a randomizer built in. Pressing "R" on your keyboard produces IDM goodness.

Some of Virsyn's stuff had randomizers, can't remember which synths though, and their synths seem like abandonware anyway.
All the Virsyn synths have randomizers.

Another that hasn't been mentioned is Circle.

Yep .... it was MeldaProductions.

However, ironically, i found the randomizer on their MB Harmonizer quite fun.

random patch generation has become a central component of my work-flow and expression- my process is currently to use algorithmic soundscape generation techniques and randomly searching the configuration space of these software instruments for a rough form and texture like a sculptor sorting through slabs of marble or driftwood- then I tweak all the parameters / melodies/ timbres until I get something I like- so the computer meets me half way- I see this as an evolution of cut-up techniques- a way to transcend the ego of the artist and collaborate with Nature and Chaos instead of impose ape-will onto form

Haven't read through the topic, but I found that the new beta of Jeskola Buzz has a darn nice randomizer onboard. You can specify what parameters to randomize, and how to randomize them. Ambsolute, relative, morph etc etc. Well worth a try!

Chameleon 5000, Gladiator, Alchemy - What else? Massive has some random stuff too. :)
Chainer :

Own preset format for u-he synths.

You can download the Zufallstransformator and a whole bank of various randomizers here:

http://www.u-he.com/PatchLib/all.html

These work in pretty much all u-he plugins, e.g. MFM2, ACE, Bazille, Uhbik, Zebra and even probably in Triple Cheese and ZebraCM.

Discovery and Discovery Pro have got a random function for program or layers.
