If you can install the demo, the pdf with it includes this info. other than that, I couldn't see one anywhere. Maybe the OP could PM you a copy if you don't want to install the demo.

*edit* I've just found it on this computer if you need a copy?

And on other topics..

Working hard - synced LFOs are half done; you should see v2.2 by the end of this month. 8)

Yes, that would be most appreciated, thank you (demo won't install on PPC)

Also see the soundcloud demos so will check those out.

Again big thanks kx.001, those module descriptions have certainly got me intrigued again ;-) Badly need to demo this before the ninth arrgh as the soundcloud demos don't really touch on the modules of interest to me (the ones that combine/morph main and side channel's frequencies).

If the developer is reading, I am curious about the exclusion of convolution? or are the above mentioned 'blenders' a version of convolution technique (which it seems by description it is mostly describing some form of convolution/cross synthesis)?

Loopy C wrote:Hi, is there a complete list of the modules and what they do anywhere? I am on the road and only have access to my ancient PPC laptop so can not try the demo. I would like to make a purchase decision before sale ends but need some more info to make sure there is truly something new for me here (I own a Kyma Paca, CDP, Metasynth, GRM Tools, and quite a few other specialized programs for spectral processing). More (and 'musical') examples also would be helpful as the voice fx on your site did not catch my ear with anything I can't already do.

Thanks in advance
Hi Loopy,
I'd recommend you look into User's Guide, it's in pdf format. PM me your email and I'll send you a copy.

Cheers!

Hey thanks Danijel, 'kx.001' was kind enough to do that already and am reading it over now ;-)

Ahh I see... I wasn't fast enough! :? :) Thx to kx!

btw, still not clear whether the processes as described for some modules equal convolution or not? Some seem close but perhaps not a full mathematical combination (frequency only?) Is actual realtime convolution available or what if any processes are closest to the end affect of actual mathematical realtime convoluting? Thanks.

We weren't satisfied with the way Convolution was done in version 1. We'll do it different way and will release it in one of the future versions. There is already a thread called "Convolver" coming on this, have a look!

Oh, fantastic ;-) (came into forum post via direct link so blanked out/missed checking the top level of your board).

Your thinking on how to problem-solve the continuous convolving of different length files in realtime and it's possible solutions was most promising and may be just the 'tipping point' I needed to purchase. (that and AU coming soon) ..thanks ;-)

Again faster than myself...! :)
Have a look at that link.

So no, no current module does the frequency domain multiplication of two signals aka convolution.

btw, looking through your various posts you have also given me concrete evidence for the elusive 'trust' factor when dealing with a new product/developer (especially when it comes to new Mac ports). Your thoughtful answers and demeanor are impressive/encouraging and VERY important to my particular purchase-making process so you will probably see my money very soon ;-)

ps, see my post on convoluting concerning Delay Dot's 'Morph', that seemed to work well and was wondering if you acquired their (your?) code?

...and DONE, just received my 'license' file. Can't wait to get to a machine I can try it on ;-)

AWESOME holiday sale btw, I was reading it wrong and thinking the $119 was the sale (which I already thought was great), imagine my surprise when I saw the $71 US!!!

Probably would have been an instant no-brainer instead of the 'considered' no-brainer had I been paying attention lol :D
