That's another thing.....I enjoy the fact that I'm not on the whole i(whatthef..kever) bandwagon. Yes there will come a day when even I will have to have a notsosmart phone, but luckily, today is not the day

Im with Justin here - tough crowd!
Although Im spending an inordinate amount of time on Muffs lately (the new sidebar here REALLY stops me logging on to quickcheck stuff). Im excited to see more on the Tempist, OP-1 in the wild, Octotrack... not even gonna mention modules
I guess it was bad for softs tho - iStuff and a Maschine clone(perhaps thats unkind, I couldnt be arsed checking it out)

istuff
(oh, I'm gonna GET IT
) It makes sense though that the "istuff" is what the focus is. Now you can get your beat, rap, and even add your autotune right into your phone. Talk about a time saver

My wife bought me an iPad for Christmas and while I was very skeptical at first, there are some really cool apps for this thing. I use Touch OSC with the Live Control template and it becomes a very complete control surface for Ableton Live. The Moog Filtrator thing and Jasuto are also very cool.
These aren't toys either, I'll definitely be using Touch OSC during sessions in the near future. If nothing else it works great as a wireless transport and mixing console.
