I will deduct 50% from the price of software if it has any of these issues:
If I can't resell it,
If I need a dongle,
If the resale/transfer fee is too high,
If the copy protection is a pain,
If it isn't 64 bit,
There are so many great companies with great policies regarding transfers, copy protection, keeping their software up to date, etc, that there is absolutely no reason to support the software developers who don't.
Go buy everything from u-he.com, PSP, and Fabfilter and see if you are really wanting for plugins. They have great policies across the board - including serial only activation... so if the company dies and you have a copy of your serials and software, you'll be able to use it as long as your OS/hosts support it.

And seeing the recent deals... if I'd (still) be a regular customer, I'd be pissed at the constant discounts compared to the prices someone paid "initially".
Then agian... I'm not anymore. Just saying.

Mmmmhh, yes...I fear I'll have to pull back the CryEverything from the market place. Leave alone the 3D display, it is cool, also Blue Cat has that thing. I wouldn't know to read it, but it looks super cool. Will get it for my laptop: next time I get stuck in an airport (or traffic jam, for that matter), I'll stare at that psychedelic thing 'til I get numb.Compyfox wrote:
