good luck with the sales ! Your nylon is a very good instrument.

Now, what is the current status of the strumming engine, and of the steel guitar as well ?

I seem to remember that the strumming estimate ETA was end of may, but no surprise with this kind of complex things if it takes longer than expected...
So, no bad feeling.
Yet, can you tell us if it's going well ?

As for the steel, it was announced for july, so you have some time left. Do you still hope it will come at that date or so ?

I really want to release the Steel guitar library on July, 1 !
I hope that we will have time to finish the job.

We will be offering The Strum engine as additions to any of our guitar libraries.

Few words about the engine:

Strum engine based on samples. It will work with auto accompaniment or on the manuan mode. Auto accompaniment is fully synchronized with the host. It has a lot of styles. Be able to program styles also. The engine determines 33 different chord and has about 1600 chord tab.
You can use MIDI files or just play chords on your MIDI keyboard. The set will be many different additional functions and much more.

No worries and all the simplest !

Just one thing, though.
You were so enthusiastic about the features that you just forgot to answer my initial question : is the release a matter of days, or is it slightly postponed, or else significantly postponed ?

After listening to the demos and watching the videos I was about doing an impulse buy when I saw the 30% for today but I was some minutes too late (moscow time got me haha) and the 25% discount wasn't applied yet... So now I've some time to ask you some questions

I somehow still have no idea how the engine looks like.
Will it be different kontakt patches or can even be switched to strumming mode within a normal patch?
I pretty much like the fretboard monitor in the "solo" mode, will it work in the same way with strumming mode?

What Efimov is telling us about the strumming features make me think it might be an approach kind of similar to the one in OTS guitars.
But it's just a wild guess of course.

As for the price, I would'nt worry too much Dr.Gunjah, I mean if you still own the Nylon : in the 1st page of this thread, Efimov explained that the price may change once the strum engine is added, but that the upgrade for existing owners will be free.
So it's likely that the price for the guitars with the engine included will go a little higher than the current price (wild guess again)

For all customers who purchased before the beginning of June, strum will be free ! Strum engine - it is not just appendage. This is a complete powerful engine !

Strum engine is a separate patch.
Strum for nylon can not be used for steel guitar and vice versa.

As I said, our strum engine is based on samples, but this does not mean that our GUI will be similar to other developers

Each developer is trying to find something interesting and unique !

Hmm... no, I read again, he indeed wrote "for customers that bought before june/may", so buying it today helps nothing and is quite a gambling game when you don't know the price of the upcoming strum engine.

Sorry to ask again here, but if you say "based on samples" do you talk about recorded strummed chords? Or will the engine use the samples from the existing nylon guitar library to create a strum?
