Dongles and XILS synths (Split from Kriminal's demo trouble)

I think people who arent into dongles, for reasons that I perfectly understand, would have interest into building a big consolidated lobbying thread, wich could then become interesting eventually and noticeable for companies, rather than interfering in every thread regarding this or that synth or effect released by a company using dongles.

you mean YOUR company, or at least the company that employs YOU...you seem very reluctant to say what your actual stake is in xils for some reason, all your posts and very spammy/ad like, yet you never mention you links with xils...why is that?

they are not, you can pick up xils stuff on any torrent site, along with most dongled synths, so that argument is invalid.

Your argument is false, because it doesnt mean that they work. And actually they just ........ dont , so the protection is effective.

its quite easy to back up, just have a look on google....so the argument is totally valid, as the evidence is right there (obviously i cant post links to such evidence as it breaks forums rules, but im sure you are clever enough to be able to do a search in google)

No, if you read Laurent's post again he said that there are working downloads but that those are not working due to the missing eLicenser activation.

You could download those installers at the Xils site but they are useless without the license.

Actually I was saying that you can indeed find some Xils synths "versions" on torrent sites, but the versions that you can DL on these sites are malfunctionning.

For good reasons.

Wich eventually was made clear by the end of the sentence " So the protection IS effective"

So this is just to react to the usual " everything is crackab--le" blablabla that we hear each time, from people who usually have no clues about protection, or had some in ancient times and think that their knowledge might never die over years.

Some protections might have been cr.acked, and some other not.

Ask Urs about protection for example. He has a very interesting and valid POV on this.

These are just facts, but I know some people are very reluctant to admit facts, or perhaps just the facts that wont fit so well into their conceptual visions of life/theories about the explanation of everything aso/

I simply refuse to do business with companies that use Dongles.........if that makes me evil or disruptive to the KVR collective Borg then so be it......I couldn't care less...(Macmurphy proof read this post for me will ya). I have every piece of software I could possibly ever need to make music and not one Dongle.......simply don't need them......and in case anyone missed it I'm as anti-warez and cracks as anyone on this board....
