I do use some proprietary stuff but the main gist is:

1) EventView for Crash Details
2) SysInternals Suite ProcessExplorer for Crash Environment
3) WinDbg for Tracing

What I mean by debug mode is running the system with debug symbols. This makes the output from WinDbg easier to understand. Check here

I would recommend that you learn and practice with WinDbg and the Symbols before using them, preferably not on a production/main PC. Coding knowledge is required to understand WinDbg.

Their support absolutely sucked for me...

I have the Artist version of S1 that I picked up during their namm sale. I don't use it and I asked about transferring and received the response that they didn't "think" transfers were allowed. I asked if it was just for the Artist version or all software and they said it was across the board for all products. I asked them why I see S1 available for sale in the marketplace, I get a response of that they will look into it... and then I get no response. A month later, I see S1 for sale (a transfer) and I send a new ticket in, and get a response that they will look into it, but again I get no response. I repeat that one more time and have since given up...

This all started months ago. :x

I don't even want the money for it... if someone ones wants to look into the transfer policy, and wants my copy of Studio One Artist, I will give it to them for free, provided there are no fees involved.

@elxicano - You might want to give them one last go. Try sending a PM to the PresonusTech as well as opening a ticket.

I'll try sending a PM, because after all these months, there's no way I'll use their ticket service again.

And seriously... any one that wants S1 Artist, if they agree to transfer, I'll be giving this away for free... just post in the thread if interested. 8)

I'm confident too that some would take it off my hands, but again... would this even be allowed? All I want to do is give it away, and I can't get a response. I guess I should not be surprised that I still have not received an answer.

Worst support ever. (IMHO)
