I know it's annoying, etc., but I get dozens of spams daily--some I actually like and read. The others get ignored/deleted/flagged. No big deal. I have a bigger problem with ACTUAL junk mail that clogs up my mailbox and needlessly kills countless trees.

Certainly if WilliamK is ignoring deletion requests, or, worse, actively increasing mailings following such a request, this is a bad thing. But it's starting to look like torches and pitchforks on this thread, and I dare say the cause seems a tad overwrought.

It happened to me too. It was a horrible and traumatic experience. One which I would not wish on my worst enemies. I want to thank my family and friends for supporting me through this terrifying experience. As a white European living in relative comfort I feel I now better understand the trials and tribulations of the impoverished masses the world over.

That's certainly possible, that's why I stated the affect it's having on me. So that if it is overwrought maybe the protagonists might re-think what they're saying here.

I hate spam, believe it or not I don't receive any on my 'audio/visual' email address, and only very rarely on my 'everything else' email account - regarding A/V stuff I only receive newsletters etc that I have elected to receive. Besides that I hate the idea of 'data-mining' and sharing my email address with other companies for their mailing lists, that I'm against out of sheer principle.
If he can't be trusted with my email address, what else can't he be trusted with ?

if all of that is true, and not some misunderstanding, then yes I will be avoiding Wusik like the plague.

If it's a misunderstanding, well, then this is a very destructive thread.
