I got a new iPad on Tuesday and had a little play last night for the first time and iDensity uses about 1/3rd of the 'DSP' (which I presume is linked to CPU) as my original iPad 1, which is rather nice. I also found that Addictive synth worked a treat using background audio and they sounded awesome together. I'm no keyboard player but I found it really easy to layer some drone type stuff from Addictive using its looper/recorder section and switch over to iDen and poke away

I'm really hoping for big things if the 'AudioBus' tech I've heard a little about gets implemented. It sounds like a kind of rewire tech for iOS apps and having a live stream from iDensity into another app that could process it, record it etc would take all these really cool instruments into much more powerful place imo. Not a great fan of all the workarounds at the minute even though the copy/paste stuff does work, it just bugs me - I just feel happier if I can see some sort of connection even if it is 'virtual'

I'm looking forward to the update.
