i'm actually enjoying the demo and trying it out on a pop song (not Ke$ha style pop). still need to wrap my head around it a bit, but I can see this being pretty useful (at least for me). still need to try it out on something other than drums or percussion, like maybe a single note synth part. just started school again, so I'll probably not get a chance to play with it again for a week or 2. if I still like it, will probably buy it.

randomizer would be great.

After giving this plugin a few tries in the recent days, I have to say this effect is a bit hard to get meaningful results in several musical contexts (EDM/ambient). Xenox did very good demo tracks, but I find it hard to get similar results. On the presets, only 3-4 of them are OK with me. I just can't see how this effect can make me to rediscover the value of my unused loops.

bought reLectro after a few hours trying out,
use it on drumloops with Sanford LFO and Acous MidiPlug
controling repeat, wave replace, note and Lfo's for
randomizing (midi learn) and a + for the interface, which
is great for life performance.

here's something I threw together with relectro all over it. the couple of glitchey things you hear were actually done with buffer override and relectro is all of the textural stuff. I just inserted it on the main drum beat and played with it, then scattered it around the song. it's also on the synth part in the bridge.

don't be harsh, this is just a rough sketch. thought it might be helpful for someone who doesn't do IDM to hear it in action (this song is basically a pop song). i left some of it too loud so that it would be obvious when you hear it (relectro that is).

Running the content I made for (and included with) *Nerve* through it.

I'm getting some VERY interesting non-glitchy results with the demo, but admittedly, it IS a touch more "hit or miss" than I would like/expected.

[aside] Try something with BASS and DRUMS with a wide range of tones... 8)

The "matrix" makes or breaks it AFAIC, and that takes 'time'.

First, thanx for the flowers. I really was happy with the result, too.

The good thing for me was, that i'm working with reLECTRO since the first beta and the first beta came out around january or february this year...! So i know how reLECTRO is working... ;) (and beside that, i talked with peter about it how reLECTRO is working)....

About the sounds i used (have you listen to the wet/dry demo from me?), here are some small tips.

Don't use Pads or long sounds with reLECTRO!

I recognized that reLECTRO is doing the best results when you trigger a sound with a short decay, let run reLECTRO in a cycle in your DAW and trigger the sounds by yourself, don't use loops (ofcourse you can but i like triggering different sounds by myself). Use a synth were you can modulate pitch with the modwheel and start playing and recording....
