Crash in Live (and hopefully Sonar as well) is fixed in new version 1.1.1!

What OS, system etc? Are u using any bridges like 32>64? Does Renoise use bridges?

Strange how different host deal differently with VSTs?

Anyone having issues automating Charlatan in Ableton? Or any DAW for that matter? I think that has to be coded as part of the VST, so I'd imagine if it doesn't work it doesn't work in any DAW.

Can you be more specific? I tried Renoise 2.7.2 demo with latest Charlatan 1.1.1 (32-bit) and could not produce any crash.

Can you describe in detail what you tried which didn't work as expected?

I just tried it with that latest version in Sonar and it seems fine now, thanks! No crash or errors, etc.

Got it working - ty. Not sure why but in Live I had to explicitly add the parameter to be automated by clicking "Configure" on the device rack, as opposed to simply tweaking it or selecting it from the automation parameter list. In any case, it works like a charm!

BTW - nice sound out of those filters

Tried the synth (1.1) yesterday, and I like its sound, very inspiring. 20 instances in cubase without problems, however i'm updating to 1.1.1 right now. I think i'll make another beat for this osc.

BTW there seems to be a problem with soundcloud.

What kind of problem? SoundCloud seems fine atm, but is of course known to have temporary glitches. When in doubt, wait..

And good to see the synth issues fixed immediately. The automation thing i've seen with some synths like V2 where u manually have to assign the paramater to be automated, but Charlatan works like you would expect in Reaper here, always has.

I've noticed a lot of plugin developers readme bullets start with "Fixed an issue with Ableton Live whereby..."

I've just uploaded a preview, but soundcloud needs a lot of time to transcode, maybe due to last DDos.

Anyway, 25 Charlatan instances on Cubase Studio 4 so far, and no issues experienced
