Thanks for sharing the presets Jasinski, at least them being all AU levels it out a bit between platforms, the argument always being that the selection (of effects usually) is greater for PC users.

Yes as long as effects are part of the DAW it's OK. It doesn't matter if they're also sold separately.

Added an early preview of the Olga
cjohs - Olga (preview)
Can anyone recognize where the melody originates? Anyways, any comments are welcome:
6 Olga instances in Ableton live, no fx yet, except some automation of olgas parameters on the bass.
Feel freee to critique, yell or add your voice in any way
It's so cool to participate in something like this, thnx to those who organize these events

haha... @evo: that pic will give you some extra-points this month, i guess!
Hey guys... I'm often listening to tracks, that were done for OSC in the past.
Did you ever think of putting together a compilation?
I've had the vision of a 2 CD comp, that covers the original tracks on CD 2 and CD 1 has the same tracks as CD 2, but here the tracks are not bound to ONE Synth. Everything should be allowed on the 1st CD.
I think, that OSC has huge inspirational power... why not use the ideas and make great tracks with all those ideas, but enhanced with all the equipment we got?
Maybe we could share a CD like this as Donation-CD's?
I would be very proud, if some of you guys would join!!
The final product should be a 2 CD-Length digital release on my Website -> People can download the zip-file after donating. Everything that is donated will be fairly divided to the people, who are involved in this!
eg.: 9 composers on one compilation (that makes 9 original + 9 enhanced tracks) + me for doing that website stuff = 10 people involved in this.
Now, let's say, people donate 10 €, everyone gets 1 € (well, ok... I hope people will donate a bit more
)
Well, yes, it is a bit of work for every composer, because the tracks have to be enhanced, but I think it is worth it... there are really gorgeous tracks done for OSC!
OK, umm... let's see if you like the idea...

I hope not!!! Votes should be for music, not pics!Bjulin wrote:haha... @evo: that pic will give you some extra-points this month, i guess!
A compilation of past winners is a very cool idea... there's been some absolutely incredible tunes put out here! Though profiting from a contest with such a 'free' philosophy is a little strange, making it an optional donation seems fine to me, but I wouldn't be a participant anyway... so good luck with the venture!Bjulin wrote:Hey guys... +1 for the compilation, it could be extended also to not winning tracks (for example: a chillout compilation, or a trance one and so on).

Or, instead of donations going toward the composers, they could fund prizes in future OSC competitions...

yes, that's exactly, what I was thinking about, too!bzur wrote:+1 for the compilation, it could be extended also to not winning tracks (for example: a chillout compilation, or a trance one and so on).
z.prime had the idea to fund... hmmm... that's another possibility... let me think about it! maybe we can do a poll - I have to meditate over it
ok, thanks for your thoughts... maybe I'm gonna start a new thread in the next days!!
Have a nice day...

OT (Well slightly, as I know there are a lot of admirers here)
For your information:
There's a legal torrent of Jean-Michel Jarre performing Oxigene available for download on the Hunger City site.

From the description:
"Here's one for all you fans of early electronica. Jean Michel Jarre recreating his 1976 album, Oxygene, exclusively using the original instruments (the 'old ladies' as he calls them). He also includes some new variations, which integrate nicely. This is not one of Jarre's big, live extravaganzas - this is in front of a small theatre audience - more low key. And I for one prefer it that way. If you want just one Jarre live DVD this is it...."
Believe me, this one is incredible. Video and sound in pro quality.
