indeed. I lied when I said I wrote music, secretly I have these minions to do it all for me. All they ask for is affection and food.
I thought for sure gol or one of the guys would have lost their minds and murdered by now.Uncle E wrote:Hilarious and true! Could anyone have imagined back then that it would get to where it is today?highkoo wrote:Oh and Ive seen people making fun of fruityloops for nearly fifteen years.
Man, I hear that. Ive been using FL fo'eva.musikmachine wrote:When i tell sales engineers i use FL Studio they say Fruityloops?! and give me a withering look.
Tbf it is quite hard to get into to. If it wasn't nfr i probably would have sold it a couple of versions ago but the past couple of updates have really improved it.Aiyn wrote:Well that just gives it away there, probably like most people, myself included the last time they used it it was fruity loops. FL Studio is much more advanced than the old Fruity loops.
Followed by Jehovahs witness style visitations to your house?cryophonik wrote:When I tell a Reaper user that I don't use Reaper I get the same look.musikmachine wrote:When i tell sales engineers i use FL Studio they say Fruityloops?! and give me a withering look.
I use 3 different hosts so it doesn't really matter to me, use whatever you're comfortable with. At the end of the day it's all about creating music and the software is just the medium. YMMV.ntom wrote:Okay, I'll be serious a moment:
Who cares that you use FL studio? That looks 100x more professional than my DAW. But does it really matter that much?
Not really, unless it prevents you from creating what you want to create.

Oatmeal is the best host for beatz.
I'd use FL before I'd use Live. In fact, I'd use almost anything before I'd use Live, so I honestly find this to be a weird comment.highkoo wrote:If its not Live, I laugh harder...
Agreed, I've never found a single solution that did all things perfectly. I'm down to Cubase, Maschine, and iMaschine, my favorite combination yet.musikmachine wrote:I use 3 different hosts so it doesn't really matter to me, use whatever you're comfortable with.
