Null away...........null away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(it's easter, what better things do you have to do
Only if you have enough statistical power to reject the null (yes, that pun was intended).paterpeter wrote:I don't see a problem here - if, say, ten DAWs have been tested in the blind test and 10.1% chose Samplitude as the best sounding DAW, and all other DAWS got 9.99%, then technically Samplitude won the blind test, right?
I dont get what you are asking theo...you can have a lot on the master bus if you choose, but you're not stuck with any of it. Next time (tomorrow) I'm in front of my DAW do you want me to take a screen shot of the mixer?ttoz wrote:OT but what does samp now have "stuck on the master bus" ??Hink wrote:one thing that isn't a joke is what a good host Samplitude has become, I just ignore techie pissing matches all together and cut to the chase...samp works for me and that's all that matters. Samplitude: where 1+1 ain't 2. They call it progress,i call it one shitty calculator.
Samplitude: We also go faster than light. Mix today, deliver your master yesterday.
Samplitude: now finally with a plugin on the master you can't remove. I wanted that since.... hey i never wanted that. Why would i want that, that's just plain daft.
Samplitude: Simply passive resisters, what will we think of next.
Samplitude: Blind tests now reveal stupid,is that progress or what ?
Couldnt resist this, Charlie Sheen is now Samplitudes main marketing guy :hibidy wrote:

The question is were you also sporting a pen holder and taped up glasses to further cement the stereo type if not all bets are off!!!lotus2035 wrote:Cubase nulls sound better than other nulls. I tested it wearing a white labcoat while sporting a clipboard.

Everyone knows that 1s and 0s dont have any tonal properties.
Next they tell us that synth plugin X sounds better than synth plugin Y...
Commando can only work in the presence of Chuck Norris.UltraJv wrote:White labcoats are biased. You need to go commandolotus2035 wrote:Cubase nulls sound better than other nulls. I tested it wearing a white labcoat while sporting a clipboard.
It doesn't. It is a logical deduction of the statement. If it indeed sounds "better" (or shall i say different) than the other hosts the only explanation for that is it does something to the audio that the other hosts doesn't which would be pretty much the same as a plugin you can't remove.ttoz wrote:OT but what does samp now have "stuck on the master bus" ??Hink wrote:one thing that isn't a joke is what a good host Samplitude has become, I just ignore techie pissing matches all together and cut to the chase...samp works for me and that's all that matters.
