Delta Modulation VST? (Nintendo NES's sample channel)

Also, I'm an instant fan of the Dimension Expander. Is it just a reverb?
Its 4 static delays in parallel, all with offset times and tremolo on their outputs, mixed 180 out of phase in the L-R (so the effect is completely cancelled if you sum your mix to mono)
A word of warning about that Nintendo VST - while it works in my Cubase 6 setup, trying to load a project containing it is crashing my computer. Luckily the little doodle I started with it was more silly+bored than inspired Smile
you should be able to remove the plugin from your VSTPlugins folder and have the project load without the plugin at least. Also I think I know what is causing that, I ran into it with Dimension Expander and forgot (most of my plugins use chunks so I forgot the Cubase hoops of a supposedly more 'simple' plugin)..

Not sure about that saved project, but the the issue should be fixed now in general (just uploaded another).

@Bitcrusher
Any news or plans to make the sample rate freeformed?

Would you design it to be free to any sample rate or design it around the NES DMC pitch table?

I think it would be absolutely perfect after that.

Not at the moment, no.. it's not trivial and I can't afford to spend a day or two on it in the near-term... got some other big things in the works I really need to focus on...

Rightio. You've done great. I really appreciate the help. You've brought your already amazing plugin to pretty much perfect. I came here hoping there was a delta modulator hiding around somewhere that I haven't seen yet, but there wasn't, but you helped anyways by making one from scratch even though you didn't need to.

Good luck on your big projects. I'll keep an eye out on them!

fixed!
miedex wrote: In the latest version its the same but once the SR knob reaches the rightful 44100 position at the furthest left it breaks the audio stream with a pop/click and can cause the hosts audio engine to stop until restarted
Thats a bug with the new feature "Interpolated" when it is enabled, if it is off then things should be as before.

fixed as well.. I've uploaded a new version (same URL's).
You are a super duper quick bigfixer. One nitpick though is now all default values are to the left which means inserting the plugin in an FX chain causes dead silence. The previous default values sounded pretty good.

@bitcrusher... Thanks, I'm loving the sounds of this.

@ plogue... I'm looking forward to your new effect.

That should be fixed now as well, though be careful with disabling the "gate silence" feature, as that is the exact reason I added it (just, I meant to have it work on both speakers)..
It seems good now, thanks. Though I did notice the AU won't host bypass in Wave Editor.

I just put up a Delta Modulator update which solves lack of parameter recall (improver saving) in some hosts:
