Then maybe just sit at the piano and learn some well known songs - nursery rhymes, jingles, songs that have been around for years. Don't worry about being perfect, just spend some time working them out for yourself. Once you get better at that, play to a click track and practice timing.

For what you're asking it's probably not going to take you long to get to that level.

Could be useful for figuring out what chords to play. Hopefully later installments will help with chord progressions and stuff.

A cool tip, is when learning simple songs, try swapping the chords (e.g playing an e minor instead of a c major).

Read a bit about music theory, but then experiement and when you find something that sounds good, that bit of music theory knowledge will help you figure out why it sounds good.
