Cool. No feathers ruffled here, we're happy with Orange and the feeling is mutual so those are good feathersDerek Buddemeyer wrote:I'm glad JamUp seems to be ruffling some feathers....maybe this will inspire other developers to dig deep into their products and really try and push some quality products out there...instead of just adding more "filler" and "fluff". I'd love for the guitar community to come together as a whole and strive towards greatness.
"'IK Multimedia is the only company we've worked with directly to get the look and sound of our amplifiers right,' said Cooper. 'We still feel this is the closest to Orange Amplifiers you can get using software, so it made sense to include it on the OPC.'" - Charlie Cooper, Orange Amplifiers
As for digging deep, check out the latest AmpliTube update, another great artist and manufacturer on board, and how well AmpliTube is doing which helps circle back to AmpliTube on Mac/Windows, T-RackS, and more. So we're trying to do this wih the idea of greatness and moving forward on all fronts. iOS IS a great place to rock, isn't it? I agree with you there!
Oh and to the topic of the issues you mentioned, iRig Stomp will help with recording, or you can simply use the 30-pin interface and any of the available interfaces (or some desktop interfaces like StealthPlug, or even StompIO and there are likely a bunch that also work - through the Camera Connection Kit on iPad. Though I really wish that was fully supported on iPhone too so it would be more convenient for those without an iOS-specific 30-pin interface).
