*Ugh* Please not. The Soundcloud integration alone is utterly nonsense.Nantonos wrote:Greater integration with social media.

I just want them to rip off the ableton racks system. No small task I reckon. Fat chance

My biggest want would be slip editing like Sonar for acid loops, instead of Duplicating. To me that is a Cubase feature I never liked.
The list keeps growing.

I was thinking more along these lines:hibidy wrote:Nah. There's already enough beiber, wayne, west, gaga and so on.braj wrote:A bubblegum dispenser?

Better Pianoroll navigation with drag and wheel zoom rather then reaching the timeline taking the action away from the notes and grid

So any idea when the update will hit? As for features I'd love to see VST tracks that allow you to insert midi effects like arps as an insert. I'm not the only one who wants this.
And I would so love to be able to record the output of a synth while playing it live. It's just not the same having to record all the automation and then bouncing it down. It sucks all the fun out.
Another great, but simple update would be to make the little sampler player they have included have multi out. I don't need much in the way features, but it would be nice to layer up sounds and be able to route each one to it's own channel for effects. It's a bummer that most DAW's don't include a decent sampler as standard.

I wouldn't guess this would come in this 2.x cycle, but I'd love some more arrangement options for intros, verses, chorus, etc. Global scale/transpose would be interesting.

I agree. Having to use JBridge for demanding plug-ins just to run them outside of the native Studio One multi-threaded engine is ridiculous. But that's the only way to stop VST's like Diva from totally killing the system.hibidy wrote:Oh, just the fix the cpu usage/optimize and I'd be fine. Studio One makes my work so much easier, but I feel my computer is working twice as hard as when I was using Reaper

you need to hold mod keys for that and is not practical while playing with one hand and working on the composition with the mouse....stillshaded wrote:well u can already do it with the mouse wheel.liquidsound wrote:Better Pianoroll navigation with drag and wheel zoom rather then reaching the timeline taking the action away from the notes and grid
Hello ooh???
Free Drag is so practical and fast rather than trying scrolling in all directions. Now you can only pull the mouse off in one direction to scroll and end up selecting notes in the process. Not a fast workflows to write music with the mouse.

I would like to see an improved automation behaviour for making exponential curves. Just like in Logic or Energy XT2, where you can bent the lines using small nodes located inside the lines.
