They'll clear near 300k from this. There will be people will pull out because the goal wasn't reached or because they are not honoring their commitment.
109 is cool with me, so that money is allocated.

Ooooooooooo! The "clarisonix" is nice!
Er, found a bug. win7x64 studio (latest version) the amp sims won't work on mono tracks. Easy workaround is stereo track with input set to mono (which is better anyways) but still. Time to report a bug me thinks (prolly never fix it

Downloading now. Can't wait to throw some Distortion on a couple tracks. Lots of plugs to play with today, which is great, 'cause it's gonna be a slow day anyway for me.

So what cool plugins could be added to make the effect suite even better? I know a de esser is coming.... But i would want:
- a trancegate
and
- a white noise machine

So on that Merit a retailer can sell any old unreliable crap, make £$€ in profit and hold no responsibility at all ? Surely they would at least tell the supplier "fix or we will find a new supplier" ?
I agree with pretty much everything you say Theo but not this
But regardless of that I have 0 interest in 40 plugins that have little to no control, also have the flashing GUI bug in pro tools that will likely never get fixed.

TheoM wrote:hey topaz, that is really not their fault.. Nomad's integral bundle was crashing logic every 20 minutes and i couldn't pin down which processor, because it was so random, and i have emailed them about it and still no fix so i was forced to sell it as it WAS indeed unusable for me, sadly.topaz wrote:I will stear clear of these, the last thing I bought from dont crack was the nomad bundle and they haven't been updated since November 2011.
Magnetic 11 crashes ableton live mac Hard. Nomad factory know about this and have both failed to fix and failed to respond to any emails, also completely ignored this in any forum threads.
I know this is not nomad factory but the installer layouts are identical to nomad as are the GUI elements so there is some involvement.
But i tested the plug and mix in a row, as in, every single of the 40 in sequence in logic, abused the hell out of them with automation and moving the knobs like crazy, and not one single crash to this day. I have been using them successfully for weeks now. They are an AMAZING set, and for $99, i can only say
Anyway, don't crack do not have ANY control over when Nomad fix nomad plugins. I don't know why you thought that.
Also it has been confirmed a few times that nomad only programmed the installer for the plug and mix, and they are not nomad plugins. I can confirm with reliability. Everything nomad crashed for me consistently on mac as said. Not one problem with these.
I think when something has worked with 20 different instances overall per project, for a period of weeks, without a single crash, that's a good enough sign. Even if there had been one related crash, i'd say something. And you guys know that if something will crash, it usually does happen to me, so take it as solid advice![]()
Will test these in Live 9 now out of curiosity, and make sure they are stable and let you know, since we are both on mac. I am now on 10.8.3 on my laptop though, are you on ML also?

while i agree that reverbs and a few other plugins could use a few more knobs, their simplicity is their beauty. besides, by far most plugins have the exact amount of controls they need.
but that's not even the point. what on earth do Nomad Plugins have to do with Plug&Mix bundle? Nomad don't fix their plugins - fine, but this bundle has nothing to do with Nomad, this is a completely separate package, developed in collaboration with many developers but completely separately from Nomad (aside from using their installer)! for example, the Ultramaxit looks like it has "Waves" written all over it. you're making zero sense with this.
Nomad Plugins are neither old nor unreliable. sure, they have been around since forever, they have their share of bugs here and there, but they all (even the oldest ones) have been updated to 64-bit (unlike some developers), and bar Magma and Magnetic, which are known to be buggy but are relatively new, they all work perfectly. i own a few of their plugins myself, never had a single problem (but then i don't own a Mac, haha).topaz wrote:So on that Merit a retailer can sell any old unreliable crap, make £$€ in profit and hold no responsibility at all ? I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.
