What do you think about making a refill out of your Symphony Strings Sampletank Module? I realize that I get Sampletank LE with it, but....

hey squids, i see you are in fl. me to. anyways, i think im going to pick up the sonic refil. one question. what do you think the difference will be in sound quality from sonic refil and lets say kontakt and sonic station. thanx.

Cool. At the moment I am in NYC. But, I'll be back in Fla this week. I travel a lot.

The samples in Sonic Refill box set (1-5) are also in Sonic Station (except Sonic Station has about a disc of extra samples as well). Sonic Refill also has sounds for the other modules in Reason too though. I think that they sound great in Reason but Kontakt has a ballsy quality that I like. It's tough to say. One thing you can do though is manipulate it more in Kontakt and even add effects to the patch which you can't do in NNXT unfortunately (I'd like to). It's great in SampleTank 2 with the new update as well.

You can't beat the value of the Sonic Refill box set though. It's a good way to get into 2,000 SR sounds on the cheap!

I hope you enjoy them. With the Refills there are also 10 other $49. titles on www.esoundz.com and m-audio dealers as well. Each are high quality products that are worth much more relative to the market.

thanx for the reply squids. even though you cant add effects directly in the reason sampler, you can still use the new effects boxes in 2.5? anyways, some places are selling the sonic refil for 135$ i don think i can beat that. thanx again.

i got the sonic refil today. i will post a review tomorow, or the next day. by the way squids. i see your main office is in sunrise. thats about 15 mins from me.
