Does it matter at all if I pipe in and say +1 to VB3? Been a fan of Soundfonts.it/GSi for almost 10 years.

I also have to give props to the clonewheel that is in Garageband for iOS - pretty killer to have a B3 in your phone!

This is great to hear, since VB3, GS201, MrRay and others are really excellent plugins for which there really doesn't exist any (affordable) substitute. I mailed him twice in the past about x64 support, never got a response...

Can't understand why they do that without providing tools to help developers ease the transition.

I need an RTAS/AAX Hammond plug-in...what do you guys recommend? Linplug Organ 3 looks promising and has Farfisa and Vox sounds too, which I'm also looking for.

Run VB3 under Reaper through ReWire. (One of my customers swears by this method for using Poly-Ana VST in ProTools.)

I still think the EVB3 that ships with Logic is the best B3 - much prefer it to NI's one and to VB3 - it's got a really gutsy sound.

UVI's Retro Organs is also compatible to RTAS and has literally hundreds of different organ sounds.

There's always different opinions on this subject and that's a good thing...

NI's B4 is the only x86 soft synth I run with a wrapper in an x64 environment...

It sits brilliantly in the mix and it has enough grit and grime to replace distorted electric guitars too...

From angelic to downright dirty...just how I like it...

It's much better than the sample based "Vintage Organs" and the distortion in Kontakt is just woeful in comparison...

I really love the sound of B4 and it's got a really "organic" feel...

Last winter I gave a USB-Linux a test drive, just giving it a check-up on the current abilities ..

I was quite pleased with how setbfree is today (or was then, it has had several version updates after that). The version then lacked preset saving&recall, the controllers were hard-coded, but the sound of it was really great.

It's in active development and is available for Linux and OSX.

IMO, you'll get the richest sound layering any 3 of Nubi, GSI VB3, Organ3 and B4.

Then, about B4 II, it reminded me that I made a small B4 II soundbank, Naked B4 II, that I use with Xils LX122 Leslie emulation. ( All sounds dont use the internal B4 Rotary effect, nor the Drive *thing* )
