Check this out: http://www.samplemodeling.com/en/products_oboe.php. Sample Modeling has some GREAT instruments. They just released an Oboe & English Horn instrument.

IMO first you need to decide if you want a Model Instrument (Wivi, samplemodeling, Synful...) or a Sample Library (VSL, 8dio ...)
