Works smooth and stable here too. Kasper just said that very few bugs where reported in the RC1 so it will probably go final in the next few weeks. I love this synth, very happy it went x64

If you got MUX, Reaktor and Wusik 4000/8000 do you need Karma FX too?

Depends on you, and what you already have, really. AFAIK, its the only modular with the Padsynth algorithm from ZynAddSubthingy, it has a form of Additive oscillator and it also handles samples including soundfont and sfz format, so that might be interesting to some people. Its also got a few filter types, including the Parametric filter, which, whilst not quite a Z-plane filter, is pretty flexible. Its more of a 'modular' (cf VazMod, Nord etc), than a 'toolkit' (cf Tassman, Reaktor) so easier to build stuff quickly.stikygum wrote:I Karma FX worth owning if you already have a crap ton of softsynths?
Its also a nice 'learning' synth. The manual has a nice introduction to synthesis, and the scope displays on each module are rather handy feedback.
But, as always, playing with the 30-day demo would give you far more of an idea than some random's drive-by opinion.
An idiot on Set Theory:
"In some cases there is an object called red that contains everything that is red. In much the same way a pot is a plate."

I'm hoping for a new version - with a load of new modules - for some years now but it hasn't changed at all. At the moment, I don't need it, MUX is much more capable...
