Oh, Luca was involved in the concept of the library. The idea of modulating parameters directly from the interface comes out of Luca. And he designed half of the patches in AURORA.

Cool. Added to my endless to-buy-list (have to control my GAS, though - otherwise, I might get killed by my better half...). So I am hoping for a return of the intro price - maybe before Christmas, or as a Black Friday Sale? (Maybe there is an Italian Equivalent?
)
Best,
TQ

We'll probably have some news and a sale at the end of November, for our first birthday, but we don't plan to do another discount on AURORA so soon.
Here we have another AURORA demo. This is quite a different tune from the other demos.

And we received a new beautiful demo from composer Blake Ewing.
It really captures the idea of our library and explores some new landscapes in a warm and beautiful piece.

Thanks TQ for the nice words!
Have to say that working with Paolo from Fluffy Audio has been quite a cool experience. A great mind and musical talent. I found in Aurora many of the features I always loved to have in a Kontakt instrument. A great amount of flexibility and sound shaping/modulation ability. And more features are on Paolo's list for the next future.

I hate to say it because I'm sure a lot of hard work went into this product but the price is just a little too expensive in my opinion.paoling wrote:Not on AURORA!

Hi GJK, honestly we think that the library pricing is right for what it offers.GJK wrote: I hate to say it because I'm sure a lot of hard work went into this product but the price is just a little too expensive in my opinion.
If you listen to the very different demos, you will hear a wide range of sonic possiblities that often are not avaiable with other similar tools (at the same price).
Maybe we didn't do our best to promote AURORA and its features as it deserves, but we'll continue to release demos and videos in a near future.
We took great time to develop an unique script and we plan to constantly expand the library to include new samples and instruments (also following our customers' suggestions).
Composer David Rosen just wrote a review about AURORA and he made a little demo cue to show some of its features.
https://soundcloud.com/bydavidrosen/lig ... urora-demo
An excerpt from his review:
Fluffy Audio describes AURORA as a "cinematic & hybrid library" and says that they "initially thought [of it] as a perfect tool to make soundscapes and long sounds, [but] we soon realized the real potential of AURORA when working on the advanced Rhythm section." This description couldn't be more perfect. Right off the bat when creating a sound or digging into the included presets, this thing was clearly originally meant as a sort of soundscape generator. The sample track I created up above, however (you did listen to it right? if not go hit play… I'll wait…), was made to be more song-like and fleshed out, and required a number of different instances of AURORA working together, using its sound generation controls as well as its polystep patterns. The truth of the matter, the phrase "jack of all trades, master of none" absolutely does NOT apply to AURORA because I was able to create a little bit of everything with this powerful piece of software, and it all sounds great.
