It cannot be used on a 19" screen?

This is the first REAPER skin I'm fallen in love since years!

Skins (3rd party or not) are an integral part of Reapers feature set ;)

Really looks nice. Reminds me very of Reason.

Yeah, but if you're arguing about the looks of Reaper, then you have to take the default GUI as a reference, as other hosts are not skinnable. :P Well v4 is looking much better than v3 already though.

.. and mostly only usable on a two monitor system.. or one with a huge resolution.

Personally I think the default skin in Reaper is awesome, much better than some of the competition. However, the piano roll's look and mouse behavior is still abysmal. Needs a lot of tweaking until it's even remotely usable.. and even with all the tweaking, the way the mouse "snaps" to stuff, aka the mouse logic, is horrible. I wish they'd really study the FL Studio piano roll and get it right.

AFAIK, DP7/8 and LPX are, to some extent.

Maybe this one:

There IS a slightly different Imperial skin for smaller monitors: if you click download on the Imperial website and say no to the question about large monitors...

So because other hosts are not skinable, we should not take into account that reaper actually has this functionality...

Are you crazy :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

EDIT: Oh, and Orion is also skinable ;)

Thanks for the tip, I've downloaded it... :)

So far I wasn't happy with any alternative skins (I tried some of them) - at the end of the day I always went back to the default GUI. But "Imperial" looks great!

When you compare the looks of a Porsche and a Ferrari, you usually take the works models, you don't go around and compare the works model to a tuned version of the car... especially if one model isn't even tunable.

Not that i think this is worth a long discussion, but your arguments just don't make sense.

Skins ARE A FEATURE, and so, it is part of a program and can be compared.
More closed to a color choice for my Ferrari (I wish :hihi: )

Looks nice, the "Dead Ringer" skin by White Tie for smaller screens, but I cannot resize the Mixer Control Panel, so I cannot work on my tracks because they're hidden by the MCP...

I have to go back to the default GUI, again... :x

I have the exact same problem. There are a lot of skins I like but no re-sizable mixer.
