For that reason we're designing GUIs in double-size, so that, once it's a non-issue, we can just release a HD skin. However, atm those UIs still load slow even with SSDs - it's 4 times the memory

Not Zebra CM though

That was another one I wanted a bigger GUI for, but right clicking that one doesn't bring up any alternatives.

Podolski...yeah, I thought about it, but tbh I like the default one, it's minimalistic, but effective & easy to work with; considering my preferences, I'm afraid I'll come up with something too over the top and not very functional, just silly eye candy

On a different note, I really like how U-HE takes care of all these synths, aggregating all info & files in one place so it would be easy for anyone to get them. It's that bit of extra effort that makes all the difference

Ok, thanks to EvilDragon's eagle eye I've just fixed a small issue with the drop down menus in the upper right corner (they were one pixel higher)

Just tried this but now the GUI is a blank, white space.

I copied the "Zebralette Blue Skin" folder into the "Themes" folder, then created two text files which read exactly this...

See, that's why I prefer the crude but more effective copy/paste over the original files

Anyway...have you also renamed (after backing up) the original Zebralette.txt?

That or it could be a matter of your DAW not refreshing the GUI image (happened to me as well with FL Studio - had to rename the dlls).

What I can tell you is that the method (although a bit complicated for guys like me) actually works - I've tested it myself before adding it to the notes, otherwise I wouldn't have posted the info. But I think you have to also rename the orig script file. In my folder there are currently 3 txt files: Zebralette, Zebralette_orig and Zebralette default.

This needs to be in TWO lines, not one:

ALTERNATIVE name='Default' filename='Zebralette_orig.txt'
INCLUDE filename='default'

A slight mistake in the readme (I'm certain I posted this to you in two lines in the PM, idfpower)

I've done the steps 3 text files named with added lines, but still get blank gui and triple checked to make sure it's on 2 lines what did I do wrong? edit:ok I can see zebralette blue skin when I right click, but when I change it the only thing that changes is the text pretty much the background does not change?

It should work... make absolutely sure that the files are called:

Zebralette.txt (contains ALTERNATIVE and INCLUDE)
Zebralettedefault.txt (contains the name of the theme used as default)
Zebralette_orig.txt (contains the default skin)

Of course, Zebralette.txt has to point to Zebralette_orig.txt, not Zebraletteorig or whatever. And this all needs to happen in Zebra2.data\Data\Scripts\

new Zebralette skin
