i've got the pinder mellotron CD and i doubt you will be able to find a better/more faithful recreation short of owning the real deal.

i'm planning on getting the best service "cult sampler" instrument real soon and it supposedly has mellotron in it. that's not why i'm after it but it might also be worth looking at.
