Korg Legacy is:

MS-20
Polysix
Mono/Poly
M1
WAVESTATION
MDE-X

Thats 5 powerful synths, and a multi-effects plugin.

All the synths were originally hardware classics.

Cant really compare the entire collection but the Mono/Poly was one great synth.

But after extensive demoing I realized that Thor in Reason is just the best for almost everything... It can be gritty, aggressive, it has very snappy and "springy" envelopes but I think it can be smooth as well... It does supersaws so well! For comparison supersaws in Zebra sounds a bit "metallic" no matter what, while in Thor they are so fluffy and clear, wow! I have that feeling that I can do in Thor everything that I can do in Korgs and it will sound even better, it makes them kinda useless... Holy sh*t, there are just too many good synths out there...
Thor is great for many sounds, but Subtractor is also great for bass. I have done two commercial ReFills that are aimed toward different forms of electronic dance music. They were made only with the internal synths in Reason (Thor mostly, some Subtractor on some of the bass presets), however they were layered and processed with various FX in Combinators (all "stock" Reason though, no RE's).

After that, there is also Synapse Antidote RE. It is quite similar to Sylenth1 in some ways. It's simpler in some areas but more flexible in others. Both the synth itself and the effects are very high quality. As an extra bonus, you can route incoming audio into Antidote and process it with the FX. What I like with Antidote is that I can achieve a similar result with just one instance of Antidote that would otherwise require several Thor's stacked in a Combinator with various effects applied.

Each of the KLA is sonically far more interesting than Sylenth... Plus the Wavestation.

To each their own I guess... but I find that demo boring and repetitive... bright characterless digital... like a TV commercial.
