Well, exactly. It should be an update announcement thread, not the X time company policy/unwillingness to fix bugs thread. I don't see a problem in opening up another thread with a obvious name like "Steinberg still didn't fix AB" or "Steinberg's company policy sucks". Why not take a little responsiblity yourself, if this place doesn't get enough mod attention, to tell people what is off-topic and what is not.

Anyway, everyone IS responsible for himself, so i won't be commenting anymore on this.

I still use Cubase 6 myself. I've had issues with 7 as well, though, not as bad as Compyfox's.

In the ongoing war between the fanboi vs the basher...can you kindly leave some space for those, like Compyfox, who like the program but would like to see improvements?

I had to use this phrase A LOT when X1 came out...the bloodbaths there were something else!!

See, that's the thing. Always black and white. There's enough shades inbetween. E.g. i'm everything else but a fanboy. If Cubase pisses me off, then i'm gone as quickly as i came, but i don't need to bash the program or the company on the internet because of that.

You mis quoted you are "TEH EVIL GUY" :)

Seriously these threads sadden me when they go like wildfire of topic. Always useful to know issues regardless.

hmm... seems like a cleanup patch. Major problems don't seem to be addressed again. Mixconsole keycommand focus, mixconsole plugin hiding, mixconsole configuration recall, mixconsole ... err I guess 90% of my issues are with the mixconsole. I still f'n hate the thing.
If you have to ask, you can't afford the answer

Also I have Asio Spikes with 7 that are not here with 6 on the same pc. A reason I have not updated and will not, because in adition to that I hate the new route they went with the toyish mouseover nonsense in the mixer

I'm still on 7.5 vanilla, haven't had much reason to update yet.

Guess I should be getting around to it.
