The worst change for me was when they removed the option to make the "Sets" page the landing page.

With this I could present my tracks in the order I wanted to visitors, now I'm forced to "chronological order", bah.

Post

I lost faith when after years of simple-as-f**k track organization being by far the #1 requested improvement, they officially said they would not do it, and tried to make it sound like it was a 'feature' that chronological order was now the only option. Because the stream is "meant" to be that...

After years of stonewalling, that. :tu:

Also, they got rid of the 'who is online' feature, just because they couldnt get it to work right.
They kept two versions of the site going for how long?
Who is working there?

Its outrageous, actually.
There is a short list of foundation features that such a site should offer its paid users and SC, after years of huge popularity, is still not providing some of them, and has abandoned some.
And they arent features that are 'hard', development wise, or especially 'costly', bandwidth wise. I dont get it.

Ive said it before... But really, ever single change they make considers the bedroom users last.
It started out SO good, but it creeps ever closer to VIVO or something...

Regarding the 128-bit mp3 encoding, streamed sounds do appear in Temporary Internet Files folders in Windows 7 (Windows 8 eliminates capturing streams here). I always suspected that they didn't want to change this and so kept the bit-rate of the streams low so that original content couldn't be snagged at high resolution. Prolly has nothing to do with anything...LOL

How come every time they update something it will end up worse than it was? Same thing with Youtube, Yahoo, Hotmail and a bunch of other developers. Sites that were easy understandable and fast are now messy and slow, especially on an older computer. Takes me 1 minute to load my email, and 2 minutes to find my Youtube inbox

Small highjack at this point, sorry for that - the Amazon site seems to be extremely sluggish lately - like it is analysing too much and pulling too many things together from too many places in real-time. Anybody else notice that?

Well, they must've updated Soundcloud again cause now I can't view it at all.

"Sorry! Something went wrong

Is your network connection unstable or browser outdated?"

I don't use the latest version of Firefox, cause yes, you guessed it, like all other companies Firefox just gets worse with every update so I stick with an older version. Guess no more Soundcloud for me. Sigh.
