Damn, I was hoping for another month of beta. Been trying to choose between this and Serum, reckon i'll just have to get both.

You might want to ask yourself what kind of synth you are looking for first (apart from one that sounds great) to make the final decision
No band limits, aliasing is the noise of freedom!

Download, install and see for yourself.quantum7 wrote:Hey, do the presets contain patches that would be useful for New Age or Ambient music?

Which is why I want both. The having to choose bit comes down to personal finances and the fact they are both on special offer at the moment.Nielzie wrote:Totally different synthsmutantdog wrote:Been trying to choose between this and Serum![]()

I've already bought bazille in beta and now going through the presets I'm glad I did. Nice Job U-he and all the sound designers

Bazille at its introductory price then, as it will never again be this low.mutantdog wrote:Which is why I want both. Yeah, Bazille at this price is now or never really. I decided ages ago i was gonna buy it, just hoped i could put off paying for it for a bit longer.

I haven't tried Serum yet because I've been finishing up a soundset for Bazille so I can't really compare them. All I can say is Bazille is very special. It's hard to explain but the sound has soul.mutantdog wrote: Which is why I want both. I really don't need anymore synths at all.
In fact, I'm reducing many off my system. All good, just not used in anything productive.
Really tried to just not buy this either, but as I said...
Because some plugins are worth their value in what they do for my neural pathways;
and this promises to be one of those in the modular realm.

And this is one I doubt if I'll be letting go anytime soon, whether I use it in the mix or not.BBFG# wrote:![]()

The whole modular thing has really inspired me. Something about trying to wire things up in odd ways just to see what happens. On top of that the sounds it can make from just one or two oscillators without stacking up loads of voices is really quite amazing. CPU usage is a bit heavy for my crappy i3 though.JC_ wrote:I haven't tried Serum yet because I've been finishing up a soundset for Bazille so I can't really compare them.
