--Well children what did we learn from today's lesson? LOL
I think everyone is entitled to their own opinion and we all see and hear things differently but I would like to add that if anyone disagrees with me they are wrong and a dickhead! Why are there no women on this site?
---I have a dollar in my wallet, it says something about the United States on it. That doesn't mean I have the whole United States in my wallet (the Koch brothers do!) but it is still representative of one facet of the United States even if it's not the whole thing. I can enjoy seeing Dallas even if I can't go to the Grand Canyon.

Hi. Just want to say thanks to those who replied to my query on the piano. I used to use iGrand live, but have moved back to all hardware since getting the Yamaha MOXF6 earlier this year. But I am thinking I might offload some pianos to the iPad again.

But why do you want to offload pianos to the iPad, with such hardware?

Yeah I was previously a user of both iGrand and iLectric, but I am finding the Korg Module nicer to play...also is a lot more "tweakable" and the big plus - user sound slots.
I might even spring for the AP upgrade to Ivory.

For two reasons. Sometimes I get tired of the same piano and want something a little different. But I also have Performances (Yamaha's multi-voice settings for splits/layers) with multiple layers and believe it or not, I am running into notes getting cut off.

Well IMO Korg is not going to "own" music production with this one. It is ok but there is really nothing goundbreaking about it. It is just a plain module with pretty plain standard sounds, e.g. the "superior PCM synth" is really not superior at all, sounds are basically already covered with the Marsielle module and there are even fewer of them. Besides I would have preferred to choose which modules to buy. Do not like getting forced to buy a whole pack of them since I have no interest sampled piano sounds at all, but that is just me. I really like the organs and ep modules but there is nothing special about them as such. For the Piano guys around here, some @Dfarley guy posted this info on Discchord and I thought his criticism might be relevant to you:
Cheers
In all, I would not recommend this to anyone who is on a budget and have the slightest doubt about buying it. Fortunately I am not on a budget and can live with my mistakes. The voices, even the Ivory, just don't grab me as much as I was hoping. They either sound harsh or muted, depending on how the velocity curve is set. And there seems to be a real unevenness in response between some notes.
The velocity curve bottoms out at something above zero, no matter how I have it set, so it's not possible to depress the keys without sounding a note, and I can actually see this happening on the velocity indicator in the app. I don't have this problem with Pianoteq. I'm wondering if they're getting great latency by cutting corners. Is there a setting I missed?
Not sure if anyone was expecting it, but there was no string resonance that I could detect (I know this was probably expecting too much).
Cheers
