There is a quite valid reason to suggest that this post be in the place where most people would look for it. Just as folks tend to look in a newspaper's sports section for sports news, folks tend to look for posts about sample libraries in the sampling sub-forum.
You are right in that, yes, sample libraries, whether played through Kontakt or a proprietary player (e.g RG) are themselves instruments, so it might not be immediately obvious to a relative newb (which judging from your post count and choice of this sub-forum, I assumed you were / assume you are).
One reason I posted that innocuous question is so you'd know about how this nuance is usually interpreted here, so you would know where to look. People post about these very libraries there regularly. Otherwise, who knows, you might be waiting another year for the next reply.
The other reason is selfish and practical -- yes, I want to be able to find sports in the sports section. I think most posters here would agree, as they post about sampling in the sampling section as well.
It's you who introduced the anger and confrontation with your scalded reaction to an innocuous comment. You must be aware that your use of bold, underline and / or red font in your mini-diatribes is the typographic equivalent of throwing elbows. Makes you come across like a 15 year
old who is hearing "no" for the first time.

You'll see that both BBFG# and I have replied substantively to your new post in the sampling sub-forum. A polite "thank you"over there from you would not be out of order. If you can grit your teeth that hard.
