The location for the acp patches now is:
Application Support/Logic/Plugin Settings/Alchemy
Just drop the entire library folder there with the presets (acp files) then hit refresh in the Alchemy browser.

No secret anymore I see. I urge those of you on a Mac to test out the new enhanced spectral morphing as in right now... it's the best ever in a software synth and it almost kick's Kyma's behind, it is that good. It has been so for over a year now without me being able to speak it out loud but now I will:
TRY THE NEW SPECTRAL MORPHING!
Ahhh, now it's said.

No, they provided us with samples, then I transformed those raw vocal samples to make my own and made my Dream Voices-patches with those, I am not allowed to re-sell them, it's an exclusive deal and I don't care anyway.masterhiggins wrote:So you still owned the samples/content, Simon? I was always under the impression that you were commissioned by them for the library or you sold the samples to them. Good to know. Would love to use dream voices and never got a chance to buy it.Sampleconstruct wrote:Camel Audio only did buyout deals, at least that is what I signed for Dream Voices.ericj23 wrote:Alas the Alchemy packs are the property of the creator of the presets - I don't remember any of them getting paid by apple so.....TheoM wrote:ok so interesting.. and way awesome!!
3000 presets is alot, that has to be alchemy complete just with categories renamed...
So if you own them, you could potentially resell them now for the new alchemy?
What's important is that old patches work in the new version, so 5 years of my work are not dead after all.

So you knew last year that Windows users buying into Alchemy would be left stranded?Luftrum wrote:It has been so for over a year now without me being able to speak it out loud

So when you enter the library name in the search field - e.g. Alchemistry Beyond - all patches will be listed, that's good enough for now.

Why keep it such a closely guarded secret that Camel Audio was working on implemeting spectral morphing into Alchemy?aMUSEd wrote:I'm sure he just meant he knew about this feature.Numanoid wrote:So you knew last year that Windows users buying into Alchemy would be left stranded?Luftrum wrote:It has been so for over a year now without me being able to speak it out loud

Looks like I'm finally upgrading Logic. Can't wait to try out the spectral morphing engine.

The GUI looks modern and well done, love it. But I will never bite the apple.

And even if it was more... NDA, NDA, NDA.aMUSEd wrote:I'm sure he just meant he knew about this feature.Numanoid wrote:So you knew last year that Windows users buying into Alchemy would be left stranded?Luftrum wrote:It has been so for over a year now without me being able to speak it out loud

It sounds pretty good, but I wouldn't orgasm over it...Luftrum wrote:No secret anymore I see. That's up to the company. If they choose to keep it secret, then that's what it is. A secret. If you sign an NDA, then you have to keep that secret. That's that.Numanoid wrote:Why keep it such a closely guarded secret that Camel Audio was working on implemeting spectral morphing into Alchemy?aMUSEd wrote:I'm sure he just meant he knew about this feature.Numanoid wrote:So you knew last year that Windows users buying into Alchemy would be left stranded?Luftrum wrote:It has been so for over a year now without me being able to speak it out loud
