Ok got the 15.6” 10-touch monitor. https://www.walmart.com/ip/UPERFECT-Por ... 1544055081
Could not get the touch to work.
Finally not sure what I did but got the touch to work.
Unfortunately not 10 touch, only 8 touch.
In the process the USB-mini/110V supply got fried.
Lucky I had another one handy.
The touch response is good. The color is good.
Th built quality is just passable but am afraid it will not last long.
The screen is a thin plastic vs the glass (feels like glass) surface of the the Viewsonic touch monitor it replaced.

You wrote, "Unfortunately not 10 touch, only 8 touch.".
Does this mean that many/most apps got a problem with this monitor? Or that you had problems with XotoPad in standard mode, but could get it to work when you activated the XotoPad setting "Use alternative multi-touch detection"?
Cheers,
Hauke

The specs state that this monitor has the capability that is can sense ten finger touches simultaneously. I could only get eight.
I tried the "Use alternative multi-touch detection"? but still only eight.
Yea most often I do not need ten and eight will be fine but then would be great to have the extra capability.
I just Fathom Synth and only get up to eight touches working.
Seems it is a monitor issue.
I am very confident that I was able to get ten touches working on the Xotopad in the Viewsonic touch monitor.

Yes, that sounds like a monitor issue then. Eight is not too bad, but they shouldn't claim that it can sense ten fingers then

I returned the 15.6” 10-touch monitor due to the issues noted above.
The touch surface is flexible where as the larger multitouch monitors have the more sturdy glass.
So now I am again looking to buy a Multi-touch monitor this time a 21" to 24" Acer, Asus, Viewsonic, Planar or Dell. Wait for Black Friday or Cyber Monday?

Just found the 24" Acer-UT241Y for $195.
https://www.walmart.com/ip/Acer-UT241Y- ... hbdg=L1600
I would buy this but I cannot find if the screen surface is glass like an iPad.

The 24" monitor has enough room for 4 XotoPad keyboards.
There are several ways to layout the keys.
So hope I will find one priced right this BF!
