For the love of God can we please stop these unwarranted accusations of some kind of conspiracy?Numanoid wrote:Maybe it was the OP that wrote it?whyterabbyt wrote:Anyone wonder if the article is a pisstake?
For starters, it says who the article is written by and it's not me.
Secondly, do you REALLY think Music Radar would want ME writing for them?
Not everything I post here has some diabolical motive behind it. I saw this ad on Facebook. I checked out the URL. I read the article and I agree with what man says.
Now, if you want to call me an idiot for agreeing with him, that's fine. But please, let's stop all these conspiracy theories with me. They're getting very old.

I don't know your name, I don't know you personally except via a username in a forum.wagtunes wrote:For starters, it says who the article is written by and it's not me.
Lighten up a little, you can't take every comment in here 100% seriously.

Thank you!whyterabbyt wrote:So first you use random in quotes to imply you dont actually mean true randomness, and then you base this response on the fact that I supposedly actually mean true randomness?EnGee wrote:No, I don't believe in such divine powers!whyterabbyt wrote: Well, it was after the rules were developed. But what you call the "'random' playing and learning" had to exist first, unless you're going to claim divine creation for those rules.
If you have something 'new', how could people understand it if you can't understand it!
At first, yes there is some randomness, but after that we are trying to make sense and relation between the parts right? Or are we continue enjoying the randomness?
Disingenuous as f**k.

Why was that a "must read"?
Nobody died and the plot was a bit lame.

I'm tired of being insane. I'm going outsane for some fresh air.

Because I thought it was interesting and something to think about. But I guess taste is subjective.werp wrote:Why was that a "must read"?

Why not try to use some of the other sub-forums at KVR to post things that interests you.
I mean, if I wanted to post this I would have put it in the Everything Else sub-forum
A reason for caustic responses can be that the topic is ill fitting for a sub-forum devoted to discussion about VSTi's, and not music production in general.

Sorry, too late to think here. I have to spend the morning in a room full of lawyers and I can't set fire to any of them. Not even one. It's just not fair.wagtunes wrote:Because I thought it was interesting and something to think about. But I guess taste is subjective.werp wrote:Why was that a "must read"?

Then report the thread to the mods and have them delete or move it. But there is no need for insults, innuendo or just the downright nastiness that is way too common in this forum and quite honestly, I'm getting sick and tired of.Numanoid wrote:Why not try to use some of the other sub-forums at KVR to post things that interests you.

In fact, forget the mods. I'll just lock this thing up and put an end to the nastiness before it goes any farther.
