...I just went with Reaper today and I'll see in next 2 months how it goes

I'll figure it out step by step.

But I have to buy good new computer soon & mybe then S1 will be possible to add...

Maybe you are fine with it as is... but this is a Reaper skin that is simpler and well suited for beginners or anyone wanting a less complex layout...

Reaper was a good choice, as it is the most CPU efficient, and in my usage the most stable of the DAWs you listed.

Add in the fact that there is basic video editing in Reaper 5 and you could very well also edit your videos in Reaper, which makes it a very flexible and cheap option. If you need more advanced video editing capability then try Vegas.

Years ago I mainly used Acid Pro and Vegas to do all my audio work.Vegas is incredible for audio editing considering that it is known mainly as a video editor(it actually started its life as an audio tool). Reaper was in fact heavily inspired by the Vegas/Acid interface and workflow, so it is easy to jump between these 2 apps. Depending on your needs you could actually do all your audio and video editing in either Vegas or Reaper.....and if you have both then you are laughing

The OP has told that he is on budget and how could Reason be the best choice for him? Reason Re everything is for sale. the free plugin Gclip by itself is for sale in Re. In VST world he can get Melda production signal processing tools for free, convolution reverb for free http://blog.wavosaur.com/the-5-best-free-vst-reverb/, drum VSTi for free http://www.powerdrumkit.com, from audio assault he can get a decent free plugins http://audio-assault.com/downloads.html. If he want to install instruments also is the same thing.

With all honesty, I recommend the OP to run faraway from Propellerheads Reason before it is too late.

He went with reaper. It's over, let's wait a couple of months as he said and see how it works out.
