however, the vurtbox is obviously designed for your average track timing - i felt very limited with the 2 min rules...

very inspiring these little beasts... i gonna post my first 30 min track very soon... :D :D

Okay, this is not only my entry into the vurtbox competition, it is my first ever music submission to K-v-R. Not exactly indicative of my style - whatever that my be - on the whole but...

The title describes my own reaction when I first heard it in an early form. Imagine it being said in a Keanu Reeves Ted-Logan-meets-Neo breathy, deadpan tone for full effect.

Two instances of vurtbox using tweaked Hobart and Scribble presets and one instance of 2WarpDelay. Not that any of them would run at the same time of course (due to cpu load). I recorded three separate two-track wave files in bidule and mixed them all together in Tracktion.

whoa!

BTW, my favorite entry so far - other than my own - is from blaster78

Going well guys.. :D

More good news... vurtbox now includes 16 patches from the expert patch-handiness of Tim Conrardy (perhaps showing a different side to the vurtbox!).. to save downloading the whole synth again here is a direct link to the fxb..

:D

That's fantastic ian...... thanks very much.

Between Tim's crystal stuff and M42 demo (soon to be purchased) and your happy family of Krakli's you guys make up most of my vsti's

It took me ages to get the vurtbox to produce a more sensible sound (for my entry) now I've got the best of both worlds in my presets.

cheers,

steve.

New patches from Mr. Conrardy....?

Where were you a week ago? :x

But seriously, I really liked all the supplied patches that came with mini-vurt from the get go. :D
But Mr. Conrardy makes some sweet patches for sure.

I must investigate! :D

Hey everybody! I found this thread at work today and I gotta say - I downloaded both vurt synths and ran 'em in Fruityloops and they are too cool. The interface widgets are amazing. It's almost worth getting a PC just to play with them. :D

So here's a short ditty I call Pervurted. I don't have the proper vurt drum kit but... well, we can't all be perfect. I did mange to do the whole thing using only vurtboxes for synthesis. I added a bit of compression, EQ and reverb for mastering and a wee bit of Pluggo and Supatrigga just for the fun of it. ...OK, I added some mda subsynth to make a more bassy kickdrum too. But the bulk of the song uses some custom patches I made which I called..., uh,... I forgot what I called them and it looks like Fruityloops didn't save them... Arghh... Well anyway, I fiddled around with the settings and came up with all these sounds - it's 1 or 2 vurtboxes and about 3 vurt minis. The percussion is some slice-and-diced vurt mini stuff.

Great work on the synths. I have no idea how to program them but it's great to automate all the parameters and watch the knobs move!

Get your vurt on! 8)

Uh-oh... Didn't see the 2 minute limit.... I'm 45 seconds over :( Oh well. :? It was fun making something with the synths anyway. I could probably edit down but I wouldn't make the deadline...

I'm trying to download all the rest to listen at work. I can't get mindless's.
