We've just spent a considerable amount of time developing Limitless. We haven't considered what we'll do with our lives after Limitless, because it's not out-of-the-door yet; Dave will probably spend a week in a silent room staring at the wall, I'll make some music. Perhaps we'll become monks, maybe a compressor, who knows? Either way, it won't be coming out soon because we haven't made it yet.
hahahahahaaaa you guys!!!! :D

Wait... there's that AND a setup page ?

Oh dear... too unlimited ? (pun intended)

A video is a MUST, depicting a COMMON way to achieve SATISFACTORY results (not the best necessarily... just "good enough")

Only in advanced mode, you can hide all of the advanced options as shown in the first image.

We're sorry you feel like that. The engineers we developed Limitless with required that level of control, we understand that it's more fully featured than competing products and we've tried to deal with that as sensibly as possible. If you don't feel you'll use such controls, this product may not be right for you. The plugin is optimised to save professionals time in workflow, not for simplicity. There are plenty of companies making simple plugins, we strive to address issues comprehensively. Perhaps at some point we'll address this aspect of our product range, but right now we're happy making better tools.

You MUST have a video to show you how to pull down the threshold? That's what COMMONly gives SATISFACTORY results on any limiter. :)

There's a video to come plus a manual, but if you're after a one-knob solution Limitless probably isn't the right limiter for you.

So you're saying that at default settings, only TH setting would help me achieve the best SATISFACTORY result I'm after ?

If so, take me money !

Here's the manual: http://dmgaudio.com/dl/DMGAudio_Limitless_Manual.pdf

Lemme know if there's anything I've explained badly. I can edit :)

Btw... the clipper with oversampling sounds interesting. I know that some guys preferring clipping against high-end converters instead of (or additionally to) a limiter.

If understand this correctly, there is an additional limiter (dynamic limiter). One can handle transients the other the dynamics. Seems to be an interesting feature not seen with other limiters.

There are of course features which must be tested on own material to get an better idea how it affects the sound and how the results are compared to other limiters.

Maybe we have a new winner in the limiter department :tu:

Well, we have a dynamic limiter, transient limiter AND the oversampled clipper. All in the manual - lemme know if it doesn't make sense and I'll have another go at explaining how things work :)

Can't wait to try this!

Is the audio oversampled (like in Elephant), or just the side chain?

So far so good with the manual.
At least this way I am forced to read the manual (before trying the product).

page 13: I would put the graph after the 4.1 Controls section.

I would also put a screen shot of the time and history graph before sections 4.4 and 4.5 respectively.

I think 5.2.2 knee should be a bit expanded by maybe a sentence or two, you say what it does, but unlike some of the other sections, you don't say what some of the values mean. For instance I assume it is somehow changing form a hard knee to soft knee situation? What for instance does setting this at 2db mean?

After reading 5.2.4, release shape I was expecting one of two options, with a slider to blend..log or inverse log, but the screen shot shows parameter values in %, you may want to say whiat % means log which inverse log?

And I think lastly is there the list of Style Menu items anywhere in the manual? On first read I didn't notice it. There is warm, there is manual, any others?

additional suggestions will cause me to edit this post.
