Tell that to Korg :hihi:
They have a polyphonic analog modular?

:hyper:
IN fact they had, the PS line was thrue poly: one voice per key, 48 voices.
Not "true poly" but divide down technology. True poly would mean a full synthesis engine per voice which would be close to impossible with 48 voices.

That poor guy's voice isn't going to make it .

This synth is incredible, the matrix routing and the modular controller aspects already make it an interesting item

I'm tired of being insane. I'm going outsane for some fresh air.

Looks like a sexy synth. I'd have one, and the new DS ob to keep it company.

Price 2199$.. Not exactly affordable. I could hook 3 minibrutes together for 1200e :P Or almost 6 minibrutes to get 6 voices.

Post

Yeah but all those modulations, cv in/out, duo and paraphonic modes, and patch memory - this is inspired.

Post

aye, tis a beauty, to be sure to be sure.
but I wouldn't like to be an early adopter...

Some millionaire here, who will spend me the money for my first analog-synth. :D

This video is just hideous xD Who do they think will buy this synth.. Kids? Not for a serious synth user obviously *roflmao*

Post

I don't find the video, or the target audience for it particularly immature. Rather the opposite, otherwise they would have advertised with EDM music.

I'd buy that synth... it's maybe the most compelling offering of the entire NAMM show

I don't think the video is bad. They use synths in rock bands too, ya know? At least it's not full of wubwub bass or some hyper drum and bass loops.

Thank god for that! - the video seems fine to me, shows it off pretty well for such a short video.

I find that video as interesting as any tv commercial (=not).
The only NAMM related video that makes me want to buy the synth is that Inhalt looping OB6 one. Still, I don't have 3000€ lying around - and if I had, I don't know if I want too spend it on one synth. (or any money on music hardware/software, I should be happy with what I already have :dog: )
