Gaslighting...is a form of mental abuse in which information is twisted or spun, selectively omitted to favor the abuser, or false information is presented with the intent of making victims doubt their own memory, perception, and sanity.

1. It's an emotional release of expression. I make music every single day of my life. 99% of it will not be heard by anyone but me, and I'm ok with that.

2. I love music. If I'm not making it, I love listening to it being made by artists more talented than myself.

3. I enjoy performing for others, but this doesn't occur very often. I have a rehearsed set of pop standards that I know are crowd-pleasers should the occasion arise.

Despite whatever else is going on in my life, I truly believe that this outlet has successfully kept me off a psychiatrist's couch all these years (I just turned 56). I feel sorry for those that don't have this kind of steam-valve in their lives.

1. I have to. It's a cliché but since I actually began releasing MY music it's a necessity. Three years ago I was close to selling everything now I would end up deeply depressed (if not depressive) without making music.

2. I love it. It's so much fun creating, destroying, rebuilding or simply recording my ideas. It's like playing with an almost infinite amount of Legos in endless shapes and colors. Never had so much fun before.

3. Historic reason why I began: My dad showed me his 1974 Framus S-380 - a Jazz Bass copy. Wanted to play it. Was told to learn guitar first. Here we are...
