Got this mail from Zero-G today:
Recent events may have hit the value of the GB pound, but Zero-G products (priced in US dollars) will actually now be LESS expensive for our UK customers...

To compensate for the recent big shift in the dollar/pound exchange rate caused by recent events, all our UK customers will receive an automatic 10% discount at the Zero-G website checkout, until further notice.

Let's not forget that all that happened last Thursday was that a majority of voters expressed an opinion. NOTHING has changed, so far as the UK and the EU is concerned.
If the politicians pull their collective fingers out, the exit procedure may start next year. If we're lucky.

Post

Indeed nothing has changed yet. Exchange rates always go up & down.

Wanna buy something? Then buy it. Simple....
We are the KVR collective. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated. Image

Actually, that may not be the case. The founders of the EU have convened and they want UK to start the procedure immediately.

(but there's now also talk of a second referendum, so everything's still in the balance)

Turbulent times indeed ... . :scared:

Well, this world is a cracy place sometimes
and out of the media we only get half the truth and information
we would need to know what really goes on.

Sounds familiar. A second vote because the little people got it 'wrong' the first time.

This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

This is heading towards HPC again (and we've already got two lovely Brexit threads there...).

Specifically related to music prices, that's a decent thing by Zero-G to do. Fair play.

Prices only please :) And fair move from Zero-G :tu:

Seems the pound up and down is coming to rest at about 10% less than last weeks value

So Zero-G did a good predicition.

Plugin Boutique seem not to have reevaluated their prices.

For example Factory is selling just below £94 and USD $139

But £94 is now "only" valued at about $125 according to currency sites like Oanda, so buying in pounds instead of dollars is as such beneficial at PB

Yep, I took the opportunity to buy Tangle now, got a pretty good rate. :)

Interesting to note that the value of the pound against the dollar is at a 31 year low. That was when the UK JOINED the EEC. :dog:

As far as I know, UK joined the EEC in 1974-75 or so, not in 1985.

Never was good at maths. :dog:

So, mid-80's - aftermath of the miner's strike, Brixton riots, rampant inflation, Murdoch fighting the print unions... All I'm sure of is that I bought my first CD player in'86.
