One of the songwriting methods I was experimenting with involved taking anybody's lyrics and making the music around the words. It was also a difficult method, to me at least. And I'm not familiar with rap music and so if I were to attempt that, it would really be ambitious. But yeah, that is sort of the ambition. I can kind of see Joey Ramone singing Al's lyrics. And the Offspring doing dellboy's.

My first ambition was to become Le ROCK STAR. That didn't pan out. The next one, well, was as much of a delusion of grandeur as the first. Still, gave me a vocation (now abandoned) and a very good salary. I just didn't become pre-eminent in my chosen field. Now, my main ambition is to live as long as possible, with as few problems as possible. This ain't an easy one, as I have multiple health problems, with two in particular hanging over my head like Damocles swords. I'll likely need major surgery for one or both within the next few years.

Writing a song that would be played/sung for generations would be nice. Just one.
